A bit about us

How it all started
Founded by Guillermo Compean and his wife, Sara Compean, both of whom worked for Huntington Orchards since 1988 until they bought the company in 2013 after the previous owner retired the business. Due to their many years of agricultral experience and their familiarity with the existing process, Guillermo and Sara had the know-how to continue moving the business forward. With several decades of agricultural experience, they continue to provide local, healthy and fresh produce to Central Indiana.
Our Orchard
Our orchard consists of 14.25 acres of farmland that houses 6 large greenhouses and several large fields for our produce/crops. We also lease and farm an additional 45 acres nearby. Our greenhouses house most of our produce plants in pots using a system of cords, clips, and an automated watering system. On average, our total plant volume varies from season to season, but we range somewhere between 4,000 to 5,000 total produce plants, this excludes what is grown out in our fields.
Our Mission
Our mission is to strive to bring only the freshest quality produce to the market table. Seeking to grow our produce in only the safest and most sustainable way possible. We aim to always be honest and maintain integrity about our growing practices while bringing your favorites to the market table.
